Η Μιχαλού ζητά τα χρωστούμενα από τους ασπόνδυλους Ομοσπόνδυλους

που θέλει να το παίζει και ηγέτης του
Ελληνισμού στις ΗΠΑ, γιατί
σιωπά
και δεν επεμβαίνει γιά να
σταματήσει ο
διασυρμός του Ελληνισμού της μεγαλούπολης, από τους 15-20 ανεγκέφαλους,
μωροφιλόδοξους, μόνιμους προεδρο- παράγοντες και τους λοιπούς
τυχοδιώκτες;
Γιατί επεμβαίνει μόνο σε ζητήματα πολύ μικρότερης σημασίας;
Η ένοχη και
ανεξήγητη σιωπή του, μας κάνει ν' αναρωτιόμαστε: Σε τι εξυπηρετεί
τελικά, την
Αρχιεπισκοπή μας στις ΗΠΑ, η διάλυση της Ομοσπονδίας;
Παραιτήθηκαν
και οι υπόλοιποι της αντιπολίτευσης, του συνδυασμού Ράλλη,
στις 20
Ιουνίου 2009.
Είναι σοκαριστικό το γεγονός ν' ακούει κανείς αξιωματούχους της
Οργάνωσης (τωρινούς ή πρώην) να ομιλούν ως εκπροσωπούντες την...
Ομογένεια ή να νομίζουν ότι εκπροσωπούν την Ομογένεια. Το φαινόμενο
άπτεται αρμοδιότητας ψυχίατρου...
 Με συνεντεύξεις
Τύπου (όταν δεν επιτρέπουν τα ΜΜΕ στις συνεδριάσεις) αποφάσισαν να
λύσουν τις διαφορές τους οι
δύο φατρίες που λυμαίνονται (και διάλυσαν) την, παλαιότερα σεβαστή,
Ομοσπονδία Ελληνικών Σωματείων Μείζονος Νέας Υόρκης. Να δούμε πόση
μεγαλύτερη ζημιά θα κάνουν. Δυστυχώς, δεν έχουν ούτε την στοιχειώδη
ευθιξία ν' αφήσουν την Οργάνωση ήσυχη και ν' αποχωρήσουν ομαδικά,
άσχετα
ποιά φατρία φταίει ή έκανε την μεγαλύτερη ζημιά.
(Με το τσίρκο που λέγεται Ομοσπονδία, ασχολούνται 20-25
''προεδροπαράγοντες''. Οι Ομογενείς, γνωρίζοντας το ποιόν των μόνιμων
προεδροπαραγόντων και την προϊστορία τους, δεν ασχολούνται. Το ζήτημα
είναι ΠΟΙΟΥΣ, ΠΟΙΕΣ ''καταστάσεις'' εξυπηρετεί η διάλυση της
Ομοσπονδίας)
(Αγγελία) ΖΗΤΟΥΝΤΑΙ ΣΥΜΒΟΥΛΟΙ: Η Ομοσπονδία Ελληνικών Σωματείων
Ελάσσονος Νέας Υόρκης, ζητά Ομογενείς παράγοντες, κατά προτίμηση του
γκέττο μας στην Αστόρια, γιά μέλη του Διοικητικού Συμβούλιου.
Απαραίτητα προσόντα: Βασιλοχουντικοί ή Νεο Δημοκράτες ή εθνικιστές, με
προϋπηρεσία στην ρουφιανιά και στις λαμογιές. Γιά πληροφορίες,
απευθυνθείτε προσωπικά στο κτίριο της Ομοσπονδίας, 29η οδό στην Αστόρια.

τις
βαρειές καταγγελίες γιά τις απάτες στην Ομοσπονδία
Το ΔΣ της Οργάνωσης των σκανδάλων,
αρνήθηκε πεισματικά να την διαβάσει, έστω, στους αντιπροσώπους
των συλλόγων-μελών. Ως ''επιβράβευση'', το μέλος του ΔΣ που
καταγγέλθηκε, έθεσε υποψηφιότητα κι επανεκλέγηκε! (6 μήνες αργότερα, η
επιστολή ''αποσύρθηκε'')
Σύμβουλοι καταγγέλλουν τον
πρόεδρο της Ομοσπονδίας του γκέττο μας στην Αστόρια, Ν. Υόρκης
Η πολύπαθη, αναξιόπιστη και
''σκανδαλιάρα'' Οργάνωση, κατάντησε πάλι ''παραμάγαζο'' της ''Νέας
Δημοκρατίας''. Καταστροφικές οι συνέπειες της ανάμιξης πολιτικών και
κομμάτων από την Ελλάδα, στην οργανωμένη Ομογένεια
Αφήστε τα μίση και

It is with acute anxiety that I have been following
the downward spiral in proceedings in the operations of the Federation.
The sources that have accented this condition, both unnecessary and
preventable, have been the persistent negative reportage in the Greek
press, which accurately reflect my own experience attending regular
meetings, and, most dramatically, the recent letters of resignation
from seats of desired authority in our organization by such luminaries
as the lady Elizabeth Tsoumaka, along with Messrs. Dinos Rallis and
Kostas Tomopoulos.
One may recall more than a year ago, the advent of a
closely-contested race for our organization's top leadership post won
by the first American-born candidate the attorney Dimitris Kalamaras.
It was expected that his experience and training, matched with the
drive that comes from relative youth, would bring on fresh initiatives
to be openly, transparently, adopted in an atmosphere of collaboration
and consensus.
Alas, as the programmatic challenges emerged,
whether financial, responding to breaking news from our native roots in
Greece impacting on our lives in America, or the ever-difficult task of
organizing a credible and high-profile annual parade that we, and the
greater society can be proud, the ability of the new administration to
resolve them has been persistently questioned.
Under normal circumstances, and at the first sight
of trouble, a progressive attitude would have the president call for
all dissident voices to a huddle, the better to arrive at an
operational understanding before the proverbial pot boils over and
derogatory publicity shakes public confidence.
Instead, it would appear, a bunker mentality has
emerged in the highest rungs of our Federation's executive committee,
an us vs. them posture, that is defensive and self-defeating. Thus, we
have the spectacle of bruised feelings, personal attacks in absentia of
principals, unfounded implied charges of self-interested economic
arrangements, and the denouement that is the series of aforementioned
resignations.
What is to be done? Plenty. Immediately, without
equivocation, and before further damage through neglect is afflicted,
let our president call all interested parties to a protracted series of
extraordinary assemblies to air differences and get our collective
train back on track; subcommittees be formed to tackle short-range and
others our long-term ability to confront our perennial issues, local,
national, and international.
In the absence of such needed reforms, I fully
understand the silence to my own initiative -not even acknowledgement
from the Federation- to have us condemn the Greek upper court's not
guilty finding and the notorious anti-democrat, neo-Nazi,
Fascist, and rabid anti-Semite Kostas Plevris!
Further, and in creative demonstration of my
willingness to engage in the effort to get us out of our present
quagmire, but also for a longer inter-communal cooperation, I shall be
happy to have us begin regular contacts with the Jewish-American-Greek
communities for our mutual benefit. After all, wearing my other hat,
president of Long Island Lodge, B'nai B'rith, I am bringing the
international president of our Order, Moishe Smith, on a special visit
to Volos to address our fellow Greek citizens-Romaniotes and Sephardim!
Why not regular communication with us at the Federation? Understanding
and tolerance, two by-products can be blessings to long for.
Finally, let us all join the Village of Cedarhurst
on Tuesday, August 4, 7:00 - 9:30 PM, to celebrate the second renewed
Greek Night, under the gazebo, in Cedarhurst Park! That can serve as an
occasion to seal our joint determination in the Federation to labor for
the common good!
